Medium Ruby with ripe berry fruit flavors, some tea, floral and spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, cranberry and raspberry with earthy herbs and citrus notes. Fine integrated tannins on medium+ finish ending with fruit and earthy character. Nice! — 24 days ago
Promising red fruit on the nose but a bit too tannic—decanting was de rigueur. After 45 minutes it was better but still tight. It took a full two hours to open up fully and show interesting notes of tobacco, earth and pencil shavings to balance the fruit and acid. Tells me that I should wait another five years before opening my remaining bottles. Enjoyed the 2021 vintage with prime ribeye cap steak from Costco, chicken liver pate and Taleggio cheese, with visiting family (William, Teresa, Xander and Samantha). — 24 days ago
Summum: Popped and poured; enjoyed with our first course of corn chowder. The 2015 Summum pours a bright neon yellow color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is youthful with bright notes Meyer lemon, star fruit, yellow flowers, some butter, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and has a chalky texture. The balance of fruit and minerals soooo Eola-Amity Hills. Drink now through 2030. — 11 days ago
2nd wedding anniversary wine! Bought in our honeymoon in July of 2022 and saved for today! This in a has aged beautifully, with a nose that’s just starting to hint at age, but still pushes forward balance between fruit like black cherries, fresh plums and velvety notes of rose, and some musty mushroomy forest floor. The color is like deep, perfect rose, amazingly big flavor for being so low abv. The acidity is still there but definitely subsiding, and being replaced with some spicieness, dark cherry, hints of licorice, robitussen, rose water, fresh olive oil, even a bit of balsamic! — 5 hours ago
Rich floral and red fruit (cherry) aromas, the flavors follow, still structured and seems to have more time to go, but it’s singing tonight, much fresher than the 1993 served alongside, super fine Seven Springs Pint Noir!! — 20 days ago
Might be declassified, but it drinks like a tight single vineyard. Very concentrated, fleshy red fruit, not quite raspberry, maybe rhubarb. Any oak influence is not noticeable, if anything contributes to the woodsy quality that keeps the tightly a fruit serious rather than frivolous. The pallet is driven by broad acidity, with tannins spreading to the cheeks that keep things lingering and give way to the spicy finish — 17 days ago

Opened the evening prior at 7pm and double-decanted; the bottle was left at room temp with the cork pressed lightly back into the neck until service. The 2000 pours a deep garnet color with a near opaque core and a slightly water rim; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears and some sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous and showing some real power with a compelling combination of ripe and desiccated fruit: dark brambles, cassis, leather, dill, olives, spiced meat, tobacco and soft baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and whoa is it ever delicious. This has to be one of the wines of the vintage. Drink now through 2040. — 9 days ago
