Light, fruity, and slightly spiced on the nose. Dry, beautiful mouthful, doesn’t linger too long but doesn’t dissipate. Berry. — 2 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two hours. The 2022 pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart orchard fruit: passion fruit, lemon, sea spray, white flowers, lanolin and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ with a wooly texture and lovely minerals. Drinking now through 2037. — 13 days ago
Jammy with structure — 6 months ago
So on opening it was weird, kind of funky, not a lot of flavor. Put cork back in and sat in fridge for 3 days, pulled out and let warm up. Tasting great and classic gamay! Cherry, a bit of earth, some strawberry, good balance and some tannin. Would let this vintage rest in bottle for longer, maybe end of summer bbq. — a day ago
Drinking the 2016 in 2025. Deep bold color with long lasting legs. Smooth flavor. Slightly smoky nose. Deep ripe fruit, with low acidity. Smooth finish. Very nice wine! — 9 days ago

First vintage of this wine, finished with a German-made glass closure, rich and complex, dark fruits, really fantastic Sierra foothills (2,900 feet elevation) Syrah, long, lingering finish, and, 14.9% ABV, yet not hot?!?! — a day ago
