Lovely, soft tannins, ripe fruit 2019 — 3 days ago
Cute little building on the label. Lovely red, red wine color. Smells like I imagine the warm, dry hills of the Rhône must smell. Hint of red berries. Some chaparral stuff (or garrigue as they call it over the pond). Flavors are classic and very clean. Berry jam, fresh cut herbs, beets, little smoke, black licorice. This is a lovely little bottle of red. Crowd pleasing yet complex. The Paul Simon of wines. — 19 days ago

You cannot really ever go wrong with a value CDR selected by Kermit Lynch. Well rounded fruit with subtle tannins and balanced acidity. Quaffable all day long. — 19 days ago

Deep garnet. Blackberry, ripe black plum, cherry, and vanilla, layered with notes of black pepper, licorice, smoke, leather, and earthy spice. Full-bodied and fruit-forward on the palate with velvety texture and a long finish. Balanced with medium acidity and tannins. There’s a touch of rustic mustiness initially, but it opens beautifully with air. Let it breathe and you’ll be rewarded. It’s only going to get more interesting with age. — 5 months ago
