Nose has cold-ripe peach, washed lime, wet limestone and lemon slice.
Palate has lime peel, under-ripe peach, cold lychee, candied lemon with mild acidity, but it's in great balance to the fruit.
$15.49 at Costco, best wine bargain I've seen in the warehouse in quite some time. Everyone should buy at least a bottle if you like a crisp wine for your summer enjoyment. We've got more and will enjoy next in the warmer weather! — 8 hours ago
There are times when the only thing that will do the trick is an old-school Chenin. And boy was this on target. Positively crackling with acidity, citrus pith and pear, quince and crushed quartz all vibrating with energy in the mouth. You’d never guess this was a 9 year-old wine. Fresh as a daisy and utterly compelling. — 7 days ago
Very concentrated and even a bit of extract - but still very pure, and racy. Muted and mostly mineral upon opening but just a few minutes of air brings out the spice and fruit (with some surprising tropical notes). High intensity and length for a $25 retail. Maybe not the most refined at this stage but could reward further aging — 4 days ago
This is an easy drinking Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley. Crisp and refreshing with a nice mouthfeel. Nicely balanced with mild complexity.
Showing limes, citrus, green apples, grapefruits and bitter herbs.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
A good everyday wine and good for parties or the pool.
12% alcohol by volume.
89 points.

Beginning of the week and lets start it off with the 2019 Duckhorn Vineyards Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc.
On the nose there is lime, peach, green apple, tropical fruit, melon and nice minerality.
On the palate I am getting lime, nectarine, lychee, melon, bees wax and a good mineral note.
This wine is medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel, medium to medium + acidity and medium to medium long fresh citrus finish. I hope everyone had a wonderful week and the week ahead looks promising. Please stay healthy and safe and make the week an eventful one. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂 — 5 days ago
Back story... working in home cellar yesterday... found 6 bottles of this I had forgotten about..paid $12 a bottle about 5 years ago. Thought oh well, try one and toss. Wow! Was I wrong! Color.. still very light lemon yellow. Wonderful floral notes on nose. As the wine warms, it’s round and weighty... still acid driven but round and almost oily. Ripe juicy pear, red apple, and straw. Had the wine with really good veal piccata and buttered, cheesy fettuccine. I need to seek out more of this wine... I remember the reds were very good... but the Grenache Blanc is out-of-bounds. What a steal! Buy this shit in bulk! — 8 days ago
German SB seemed like a good call tonight for reasons I can’t articulate. It’s pale green yellow in the glass, some CO2 fizz and an aromatic bouquet of cucumber lime and herbs, with green and yellow fruits popping all over the place. Fresh, fun, distinctive, gone in a hurry — 3 days ago

On this Wednesday, "Hump Day", I have opened the 2019 Domaine Claude Riffault Sancerre Les Boucauds.
On the nose I am getting lime, white peach, pear, melon, gooseberry, nectarine and minerals.
On the palate is good notes of lime, white peach, grapefruit, pear, minerality and some flinty stone.
This is a beautiful Sancerre medium bodied wine with medium + acidity that moves nicely into a long fresh citrus mineral finish. I hope everyone's week is going well as we continue to move quickly into spring. What a beautiful week we have been having with springtime temperatures. Please stay safe and healthy and enjoy the rest of your week. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂 — 3 days ago
