Smoky reduction dissipates w air, but not much. An off-putting sweetness emerges like burnt coconut. Not flabby but could lose a few Kgs. — 20 days ago
Fabulous! This guest should come more often. — 2 months ago
2023 Rose Rock Pinot Noir from Eloa - Amity Hills , Drouhin Oregon. What a winner this one is. I can drink a whole case of this stuff. It’s absolutely delicious.. The bouquet is like walking through a ripe cherry Orchard. The initial palate is filled with cherries and raspberries. Then comes the hint of smoky charred oak. A slight hint of pepper in the background surrounds a deep velvety texture with no tannic overtones. The finish delivers a red licorice and sweet chocolate covered cherry finale. It is dry but not too dry! This is a fantastic every day every night Pinot Noir with an alcohol percentage of only 14.1 % abv. — a day ago

A solid producer year after year! Very juicy and light. Some whole cluster. Very likable and unoffensive. Touch bitter. Orange zest, more red fruit than dark. Cherry/Hint blackberry. Touch oregano. Lime. Crushed marble. Covers the back palate nicely. Lots going on here. I consider this a drink now wine 36 bucks and 13.5%. There are just a handful of Pinots which win me over at this price point. And this one is in the Burgh killer zone. If you like Pinot this is a winner @ San Diego Wine Co. — 19 days ago

An absolute stellar example of Willamette terroir and a steal at <$30. This wine has evident and precise cherry fruit, bright acidity and great balance. I’d love to try this bottle in a few years as the acidity suggests aging potential, but it’s drinking great right now. — 9 days ago
