@Delectable Wine this is the Meursault Les Grands Charrons. — 2 months ago
First growth Bordeaux with Christmas Dinner! (Thanks to my wonderful Son-in-Law). Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (57%), Merlot (23%) and Cabernet Franc (20%). Dark Ruby color with a slight rust colored rim. Extremely savory on both the nose and palate. Aromas of charcoal, graphite, unsweetened cocoa and black cherry. Flavors of tobacco, bakers chocolate, roasted herbs and a bit of black berry/cherry fruit. Very long and oaky/earthy finish. Well structured, full bodied and very complex. Soft tannins. Quite a treat! Thanks so much, Petey! — 20 days ago

My crazy BIL did it again. Same rating with one add’l thought: 20+ years to go but divine now with decant.
“Lithe, feminine nose led a nicely delineated palate of dark red fruit, cigar box and velvety tannins. Wonderful.” — 17 days ago
