Bright yellow gold. Baked quince, honeysuckle, and ripe red apple on the abundant nose. Full palate of baked quince, balsa wood, and a hint of raw vanilla and white pellet on the finish. Medium plus acidity. I call this the “baby Meursault” as it delivers much of the weight and complexity of its higher end sibling at a more everyday price. This is a very enjoyable aged Unoaked Chardonnay from Sonoma County. Tangy and interesting. Spicy and rich.
This Single Vineyard feels very young. Would be interesting to revisit it in 3 years.

This is a delicious Merlot from Napa Valley. Full bodied and bold with medium acidity.
Showing blue and black fruits with cedar, vanilla, leather, spices, earth, chocolates, tobacco, peppercorn and coffee.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This Single Vineyard is rich and extracted, and still young. Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 10 years.
Good right out of the bottle and better with airtime.
A nice sipping wine and good with food too.
I had it a year and a half ago, and it is drinking better now.
I paired it with cheeses and crackers.
A tiny production of only 300 bottles. 100% Merlot grapes.

This is the 2016 Pepper Bridge Trine Walla Walla Valley Estate Vineyard Bordeaux Blend from Walla Walla, Washington. This is a blend of 35% Cabernet Franc, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and 3% Malbec.
On the nose there is black cherry, seeet strawberry, blackberry, black plum, bkack currant, graphite, violet, green bell pepper, vanilla and earth.
On the palate there is cherry, strawberry, black cherry, green bell papper, black pepper, licorice, spice, cedar and earth.
This wine is medium to full bodied with a smooth savory mouthfeel medium + acidity and medium + smooth mouth filling tannins that brings a long blue and black fruit graphite finish. First ever attempt at smoking salmon on my pellet grill and decided to pair with this Pinot. For the marinade I chose for the meat the wine was a tad bit weak but that doesn’t diminish the overall quality. Seemed to have a bit more blueberry on the nose and palate with some earth tones. Bit lighter than other Sonoma Pinots and might have you think of an Oregon Pinot. — 4 years ago

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with apples, light citrus, honeydew, oak, marzipan, vanilla and Indian spices.
Tangy finish with limes and almonds.
This is a tasty, 7 year old, Oaky Chardonnay from Sonoma County. This Single Vineyard is spicy and entertaining.
Still rich on the palate, but some of fruits are a little faded by now. I really liked the nose, as it is showing lots of elegance. I enjoyed it, although an oaky Chardonnay is not my style.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.
Will continue to drink nicely in the next couple of years.
Barrel fermented and aged in French oak barrels for 16 months.
