Des notes de graphite et de crayon à mine apportent une élégance minérale caractéristique, signature d'un vin de grande classe. Bouche: Attaque riche et structurée. La matière est dense avec une belle longueur en bouche. Les tanins, légèrement râpeux, témoignent de la jeunesse du vin tout en promettant un beau potentiel de garde. L'ensemble est harmonieux et parfaitement équilibré. Finale: Persistante, avec un retour des arômes de fruits noirs et de minéralité. Remarque: Ce vin s'inscrit dans la lignée des grands vins bordelais, d'autant plus intéressant quand on sait que Jean-Claude Berrouet, ancien maître de chai de Pétrus, a apporté son savoir-faire à l'élaboration de ces cuvées. Medium-bodied but somehow rich, the 2015 cuvée from Le Vieux Donjon is loaded with sappy red fruit balanced by garrigue, anise, and florals. Easy drinking but not simple, it pleased a wide range of palates at our Christmas dinner. Still seems to have the legs to go a few more years. — 3 months ago

Blend of 45% Grenache Blanc, 30% Clairette, 20% Bourboulenc and 5% barrel-fermented Roussanne, pale lemon color with aromas of green and stone fruits with citrus and honey notes. On the palate flavors of apricot, apple, peach and pear, crisp with good balance of acid, still fresh and lively. The medium+ finish is tangy with smoky, nutty earthy ending. Good now, some age will benefit the wine! Nice! Be sure not to over chill as you will lose out on all of the complex flavors and aromas. — 3 months ago
