Big fan of this wine. Cherry aroma, strawberry palate, mineral terroir, smooth finish. — 4 months ago
Happy Easter! Uses a lot of new French oak, and it shows but it’s well-integrated. It tastes like a marriage between a California Cabernet and a classic rioja, modern in style but very good. Intense concentration, silky tannins on the palate with medium+ acidity. chocolate, vanilla, tobacco, spice, a bit of earth, and rich dark fruit that’s nearly jammy but not quite. — 18 days ago
3.5. A fine rioja from Muga with a smooth complex blend of fruitiness, minerals and tannins. We enjoyed this wine with our meal - it tastes more expensive than it is. on sale for $17.49. Buy more of this. And a cute label as well. — 19 days ago
2020 vintage. Medium body. Pretty and with hella lanolin. Slightly less highbrow than chardonnay and clearly more refined than most Sauvignon Blancs. Keep an eye out as this is a winner. Just enuff acidity. Perfect for warmer Spring days and warmer Summer nights. 04.02.25. — a month ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Blend of 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, and the rest Graciano and Mazuelo, deep Ruby, aromas of sweet red and black fruits with pepper spice and oak, aged in both French and American oak for 24 months. On the palate flavors of blackberry and currants with licorice, vanilla, tobacco and toasty oak tones. Soft full ripe tannins, wonderful balance, lively acidity on a long finish ending with an earthy mineral character. Very nice! — 4 hours ago
