Yeah it needed like 9-12 hours more air. Those SQN reds/whites ain’t no joke. Whites gotta be decanted. Those wines get the princess treatment.

Cote de Lechet Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay 2016

This shows a lot of lemon and minerality aromas and flavors, drinking beautifully tonight, but should continue to improve, long finish, very fine 1er Cru Chablis!! — 5 months ago

Chablis Chardonnay 2022

Punches meaningfully above its price point. Always reliably delicious. Bit more fruit this year, perhaps? Excellent body and acid and finish. Rounds out on day 2. — 6 days ago

Such lovely wines and I agree!

Domaine Jean Dauvissat Pere & Fils

Bas de Fourchaume Chablis Chardonnay 2022

Needs a 30 minute decant.

Nose: white and yellow flowers. Ocean breeze.

Palate: classic dauvissat elegant density. Mashed yellow flowers. Delicious. Almost a willi Schaefer balancing tartness.

Vaillons Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay 2016

Lovely medium-weight Chablis 1er Cru, some spice and mineral aromas and flavors, long finish, I’m guessing 3-5 more years of improvement ahead, very fine!! — 4 months ago
